President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky openly states that he does not believe that Ukraine will become a member of NATO, despite the Alliance’s declared “open door” policy.
“Of course, Ukraine is not a member of NATO. We understand this, we are not crazy. We have heard for many years about the supposedly open door, but now we have also heard that we cannot enter. And this is true, and this must be admitted. I am glad that our people are beginning to understand this and rely on themselves and on partners who help us,” President Zelensky said.
President Zelensky once again asked to close the sky over Ukraine to prevent Russian air strikes, reports SmartNews.
